It is better for college students to live in schools than live at home with their parents. Do you agree or disagree?
Many students are faced with the dilemma of whether to live in a university dormitory or at home with their parents. From my perspective, a dormitory is evidently the better option for most students.
Firstly, there is a common belief that living with their parents is better for students’ personal development. Many people argue that students living at home may fully concentrate on their academic studies because their parents are likely to support them in various ways, such as by doing household tasks. However, I believe some students may become over-reliant on their parents as a result, and thus do not develop the ability to live independently in the future. By contrast, students who live in dormitories must assume responsibility in all aspects of life. Therefore, they may acquire the skills necessary for self-reliance, ranging from financial management and problem-solving to meal planning and home management, all of which are essential to foster the all-round personal development of this group of students.
In addition, there are several distinct advantages of choosing on-campus residences. The most evident advantage is that students who choose this type of accommodation would have easy access to libraries and various learning resources that are readily available at university. Another clear benefit is that those living in student accommodation are exposed to a diverse environment with people from various social and cultural backgrounds. As a result, students are better prepared to live in today’s multi-cultural world.
From the issues outlined above, one can conclude that living on a university campus is a better choice for students than living at home with their parents. I predict that the number of students choosing to live in university accommodation will remain high in the future.
There is an opinion asserting that it is beneficial for college students to live in cabin. These interpretations can provide us with insights into student’s dilemma of where to live, in a university dormitory or at home with their parents. I, however, agree with the given statement on the basis of personality and independence. To begin with, the main reason is that correct guidance for growth is determining factor when distance from family is concerned. To put it another way, regardless of highly one’s dependent to family, they are compelled to keep within their self-responsibilities. This in turn students have to assume responsibility more as they living with their parents, they would support such as household chores and solve all their problems, thus they might be more reliant on their parents. Take dorm rooms where pupils learn how to act alone or with other classmates. Having said that, however, independence is not the only causative factor in this respect. Another compelling argument against basis our society on student’s choice as living in the dormitory is a growth. That is to say, experience speak stronger than knowledge. Besides, they can make a friend and contribute on public occasion. Therefore, living faraway from parents was gave a chance to students to have wiser manners in any conditions. To conclude, I personally take the view that it is acceptable students live in college than with family. This is mainly because of growth in student's personality and help them to be the useful in the future.
It is true that, although some university students can live with their families while studying in their home town, others are forced to live away from home to follow their study gold. There are some advantages and disadvantages to both of these situations. On the one hand, Living with their family has different benefits and pitfalls for university students. One big advantage is that they have access to free life accommodations such as home, food and heating for free. furthermore, when they have a big problem, they have the chance to discuss and get help from their parents or their accessible family member who has the experience to solve the problem. Although living at home, students may have a big disadvantage, already this situation couldn’t make independent people due to the fact that there doesn’t have a chance to live alone and solve their problem individual. On the other hand, Live away from home students have lots of good and bad challenges. Firstly one benefit of it is that student use their ability to make our life without any family support and so in the future will make a better life rather than another. The major disadvantage of far living for the student has paid so much money for their life accommodation without income. This problem not only affects their student's quality of life but also can force the student to spend more time working out. Finally, for this reason, some far-living students decide to drop out. In conclusion. Far living student and a family living student have a variety of benefits and disadvantages, but it is so personal to choose one of them when a person likes to start our university study time.
