IELTS General Writing Task 1 Practice Test 27
You rent an apartment and you are quite happy with it but you want to suggest a renovation. Write a letter about your suggestion. In your letter, you should tell:
- Your appreciation of current condition
- What is the renovation and why?
- What is the benefits of your suggestion?
Sample Letter
Dear Mr. Ishan,
This is Vanshika, residing in flat no. 208 in the Bava Vihar Complex, located in the Janki colony. I shifted yesterday and already got settled. This letter is to express my gratitude and give you a suggestion. The vicinity of the house is beautiful and is in the safest area. The lush green garden near the house is the best place for me where I can spend quality time with myself.
I must say, the house is in incredible condition. Despite being vacant for years, you have managed to maintain it well. However, I would like to suggest you regarding the paint of the house. The walls look old and dilapidated. The paint is peeling off the walls and falling on the ground.
It would be great if you can get the house repainted. It will enhance the outlook of the apartment.
