Differences between countries become less evident each year. Nowadays, all over the world people share the same fashions, advertising, brands, eating habits and tv channels. Do the advantages of this trend outweigh the disadvantages?

Band 8.0 Model Essay 1

We are now living in a global village where geographical barriers have become insignificant. People wear the same kind of clothes all over the world, eat the same foods and watch the same films. In my opinion, this trend has made life easier for us all.

There are several benefits to following global fashion trends. It makes traveling easier. For example, now, Indians and Americans or Europeans have more or less the same tastes in fashion, food, and music. As a result, young Indian professionals can travel to the US or Europe and still feel at home there. The biggest advantage of following a global lifestyle is that it eliminates culture shock when you travel to other countries. It also protects you from discrimination. When you wear the same kind of clothes or eat the same kind of food as everyone else, you will not stand out. This will actually protect you from various forms of discrimination that you might experience when you are in a foreign country. An Indian woman living in the US will be at a disadvantage if she insists on wearing only traditional Indian clothes and eating only vegetarian foods. This will limit her choices, but if she is willing to follow the culture of the country she lives in, life will be easier for her.

The only disadvantage of this trend is the loss of ethnicity. Every nation has its traditional styles of fashion and clothing. When everyone wears the same kind of clothes, this cultural legacy gets lost.

To conclude, the benefits of following global trends in lifestyle and fashion are many. It makes life easier for globetrotting youngsters. There are, nonetheless, a few disadvantages, but there is an easy way to get around them. People who are proud of their ethnic fashion and lifestyle can follow it when they are in their own country.

Band 8.0 Model Essay 2

Globalisation has allowed people to adopt a homogeneous culture in terms of entertainment, fashion and other areas as such. However there are some people who believe such uniformity isn’t very beneficial. This essay shall discuss further both the sides of this phenomenon.

Having the same kind of preferences helps people get around the world very easily. If we watch TV shows or adverts of a certain country we get familiar with a summary of its culture, thereby making it easier for us to blend in there. The more we get to know about each other, the more can the differences between countries be eliminated making the world a huge harmonious community. We are no longer restricted to brands of our own country but are exposed to international products and services. Following a global fashion trend shall make you feel and act more naturally with the people anywhere in the world without being too obvious.

The people who do not support such a development are the ones who feel a country’s own ethnicity will be lost if the people try to adopt the prevailing global culture a little more than required. Watching TV shows or movies from a foreign country may influence and alter the mannerisms of the people of the home country. Some cultures are very rigid when it comes to clothing and the acceptance of universal fashion trends therefore will not be received well. Although, I feel these are minor issues in comparison to the host of advantages that we have regarding this. One’s own ethnicity can be followed regardless of the TV shows we watch or the clothes we wear.

To conclude, I agree that the advantages of the phenomenon of having a uniform culture worldwide outweigh the disadvantages. Every subject has pros and cons, and the cons here can be ignored easily, especially when such an acceptance makes life easier.

Increasing globalization has faded the line between nations in terms of the clothes they wear, the TV channels they watch, or their dining habits. Although there are some people who believe such uniformity isn’t very beneficial, I firmly believe that the advantages of this phenomenon far outweigh its drawbacks, as it protects you from discrimination and provide the countries to increase tourism. To begin with, globalization makes traveling easier. The far-reaching and positive effects of tourism is undeniable. It has been considered as a significant source of revenue. Tourism also plays a key role in the economic growth by providing job opportunities, enhancing high standard of living for local communities and increasing foreign exchange earnings. Having the same kind of preferences helps people get around the world very easily. If we watch TV shows or adverts of a certain country we get familiar with a summary of its culture, thereby making it easier for us to blend in there and decide to have trip to there. For instance, according to the social statistics, the number of passengers throughout the globe has been multiplying amazingly a daily basis. The other outcome is that the more the governments take march toward the globalization, the more can the discrimination be eliminated. For example, an Indian woman living in the US will be at a disadvantage if she insists on wearing only traditional Indian clothes and eating only vegetarian foods. This will limit her choices, but if she is willing to follow the culture of the country she lives in, life will be easier for her. What cannot escape unnoticed in this regard is that there are a myriads of people throughout the world whose behavior patterns are determined by geographical barriers. Hence, there is no disputing the fact that discrimination will be on a downward trend due to the globalization. In conclusion, Even though every subject has pros and cons, cons here can be ignored easily. Especially when such an acceptance make life easier.

With the prevalence of varied kinds of advertisement, TV shows, fashion, and pursuing other brands, countries have no differences between each other. For this reason, plenty of individuals argue that pros outweigh cons. I completely agree due to removing shock culture and approaching states to each other. On the one hand, there are several disadvantages to following global fashion. Due to losing their culture of each country. For example, China people have more tastes in food, clothe, communication and occasion so that this custom and traditional style have been padded by entrance west culture in this country. In addition, the bounder of national ceremonies gravitates toward disappearing. On the other hand, it causes people to communicate strongly each other, according to researches were conducted all around the globe, they illustrate that government which they will be prosperous and forward-looking if countries relate with each other. On top of that it leads to eliminate culture shock when humans travel to other countries, especial for people who tend to immigrate. In conclusion, the benefits of following universal trends are more than drawbacks because of becoming close to each other. I think, it would be better that governments suggest plans for improving these relationships.

Technology provides a growing number of variety country’ characteristics in the world which has faded the line between nations in terms of clothes they wear or TV channels they watch. Although, there are a number of benefits involved in this trend, the drawbacks accruing to countries are by no means negligible. To begin with, globalization makes travelling easier and people tend to travel foreign country to see different culture. To put it another way, regardless of one’s taste in the same globalization, it is demolished the connection and integrated. For example; Tourists travel many long-hours from east of the world to the west of it like Iran just to watch Islamic country. Thus, these changes will increase tourism industry and economic growth by providing job opportunities and enhancing higher standards of living. Having said that, however, another compelling argument is an annoying sense of equality and ethnicity. That is to say, every nation has its traditional history and style of fashion. A good illustration of this like Iran that wear chador and not a freewill. Therefore, everyone can not wear the same clothes due to cultural legacy gets lost. To conclude, I personally take the view that it is unacceptable that countries becoming less evident. Even though, every subject has pros and cons, and the cons here can be ignored easily, especially when such an acceptance makes life easier.

Nowadays, advanced technology makes the world a metropolitan city, although in this city people, wear the same clothes, drink the same drink and like to use the same transport. In my part of a view, I am supporting this trend duo to providing a lot of facilities for us. On the one hand, this idea has a wide variety of advantages. Firstly, when people have the same living option as others, they would like to spend less time shopping and spend more time not only with their family or friend but also saving time on travel and entertainment. Secondly, during this time, the number of people who like to immigrate abroad will rapidly be decreased because the same world has the same thing. For example, a wan, who lives in a country in the north of Africa, has the same food, dress, and technology as USA citizens. On the other hand, the only disadvantage of this trend is that local companies will disappear during the time. To illustrates this, big company and factory can export their product all over the world at very competitive price rather than a local business. for example, nowadays Samsung and Apple company produce 99 per cent of the technology devices in the world. To conclude. However, it has a few problems and pitfalls but the benefits of the world trend in fashion and lifestyle are many, so I believe that it can make life easier for all the people in the world, especially for many of them living in a poor and industrial country
