Paradise Island Map

The supplied maps illustrate before and after the development of an island for tourist. Overall, the island is approximately 200 meter long and is surrounded by ocean; additionally, it was completely transformed by addition of some facilities for foreign visitors. It is worth noticing that, the eastern part of the island has been left undeveloped. The couple of palm trees occupied parts of island, which remained untouched in the expansion. The most noticeable additions are hotel rooms. Between the two accommodations a restaurant and a reception building have been constructed. Additionally, a pier has been built to the south of the island, allowing yachts access to the resort. Furthermore, there were a beach on the east coast, apart from the trees, the east beach has retained unspoiled; however, now it is used for swimming. The other facilities which have been catered for visitors is that the vehicle track from restaurant and reception building to the pier, and footpath from accommodation to the beach.

The development of an island is displayed in the two maps. As it can be seen, the island witnessed dramatic changes over the period. Constructing of some facilities for visitors, converted the island to an attractive place for tourists. However, the eastern part of the island appears to have been stayed undeveloped. The island is approximately 250 meters long. Before the changes, there were just a few palm trees in the west and east of the area dotted around it .The center of the island was vacant of any recreation facilities. The people were not allowed to swim the west beach. The hotels including nine and five accommodations have been built in the center and west of the island. While a new restaurant has set up to the north, a reception has also been located in the center of area surrounded by vehicle tracks. As per the maps, the beach in the west of the map, has become suitable for swimming over the period. In addition, they have constructed a new pier on the south coast to allow boats to have access to the resort.

The two maps illustrate information on a small island before and after the development for tourism purpose. The overall trend shows a significant alteration in this island, also there are residential and commercial changes. Furthermore, access to the island was made possible by constructing a pier. As can be seen, at that time, the island was completely undeveloped. Plenty of trees were occupied the northern and southern parts. After that times, the island observed remarkable changes. Two separate accommodation areas were constructed in the central part of the island with circular footpaths were surrounded around accommodation districts. It is clear that restaurant and reception building were located in the separate accommodation areas. In addition, a pier was built to permit access to island by boat that this path was covered to restaurant and reception place with vehicle track. Ultimately, swimming zone was added on the western edge of the island that it was connected with footpath.

The two maps gives data of an island before and after the developments of some places for visitors. It is clear that before construction there were not any signs of accommodation and divided parts on an island, while after some changes it turned to almost a village. Tourists can inter the island from pier near place where boats land, while before there was not an interance for an island. When tourists pass pier they should go straight to arrive at reception, it is located in the center of an island, where in the right and the left of it, cottages were built for visitors accomodation but they should go there just on walk, there are no roads for transportations and veihcles. In the western edge of the island there is a beach, however before changes it was not a place to swim, whereas when the island was ready for tourists swimming zone was added. Also in the north a restaurant was built, people who come to the island are able to go there for their meals by vehicle track.

The maps show an island over a period of time that has been prepared for tourism purposes. Length of island is approximately 250 meters. At first picture, the island was unspoiled. There was plenty of palms in the island that exist currently. In the west of the island, we can see a beach that now using for swimming. Apart from that, an accommodation with some rooms has developed for passengers. Furthermore, a pier has been constructed in the south of the island that tourists can enter the island. The most noticeable changes that have been occurred during the time, are residence that has been built. There are 6 buildings in the west of the island that surround the palms. Also 9 rooms have been developed in the center of island. Between this two groups of rooms, there are a reception and a restaurant. On the other hand, east of the island seems to have been left undeveloped. Moreover, a pier has been constructed to the south of the island that people can reach the residential area with ease and we can see 2 boats. Also there is a footpath that passengers can go to the beach that exists in the western part of the island and swimming there.
